He has been recognized by international rankings such as Legal 500, Best Lawyers, and Managing Intellectual Property, standing out in the categories of Data Privacy, TMT, Intellectual Property, and Advertising Law. In 2022, he was named Lawyer of the Year in Advertising Law.
Educated at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, he obtained an LL.M. from the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in Law & Technology thanks to a Beca Chile scholarship. He also completed a diploma in Intellectual Property at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
He has taught diploma and master's programs at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile on intellectual property, innovation, and sports law. He has also published several articles in Chile and abroad on net neutrality, advertising, intellectual property, and personal data. He has also been a member of AMCHAM's Digital Regulations Committee.
He previously served as Associate Partner at EY Chile, leading the Personal Data, Fintech, and Information Technology area, and prior to that, he was an attorney at Cariola, Díez, Pérez-Cotapos / Sargent & Krahn, in the Technology, Privacy, and Media area.
He has been admitted to the bar in Chile since 2009.
